If you are a blogger and you use WordPress self hosted your “Permalink” will automatically defaulted to a random number that the search engines will not know what your title is about. I strongly recommend that you change the setting from “Default” to either “Month and Name” or “Day and Name” so your post is read by Google an all the other search engines in case somebody is looking for information on that particular topic.
Instructions:
- Log into your back office/dashboard
- Click on the “Settings” tab on the left column
- Click on the work “Permalinks”
- Change the setting to one of the above that includes the word “Name”
- Save and you are done!
After a few days that the spiders have had a chance to find your article and depending on the popularity of that search you have a much better chance to be found!
